Pastry Training for Rural Widows in Nigeria

On December 27, 2024, ten rural widows in Jimeta/Yola, Adamawa State, participated in a pastry.

Objectives:

The training aimed to equip widows with practical skills in groundnut preparation to meet local and international market demands, support income generation, and promote economic self-reliance.

Outcome:
Participants learned sustainable business practices to help reduce losses and alleviate poverty through small-scale food enterprise.

Conclusion:
A follow-up assessment is scheduled for March 2025 to evaluate the progress and sustainability of the participants’ ventures.
