THE CANADA VIRTUOUS WOMEN – CAVIWO LOVER GIRL CONFERENCE ON 10th AUGUST 2024 – ABIA STATE NIGERIA

The program was held at Presbyterian Church Umuaihia, in ABIA state, Nigeria. The Vision bearer Mins Adeline Ijang from CANADA was present and a team from the Virtuous Women Cameroon (CAVIWO-CAM) including the coordinator of Cameroon: Mrs Delphine ENDAH Tendoh also attended this conference. CAVIWO Nigeria was represented by Pst Helen Odogba and Pst. Olga Stephen and the conference was hosted by Mins Ngozi Okaroafor.

More than 500 women received life transforming empowerment through the ministration on the unconditional love of God, workshops on Health, Business, and family relations. They were taught how to love themselves, love one another as God has loved us. There was a practical demonstration of love by the leader of CAVIWO CANADA through sharing free hugs and praying for the women individually. The workshops were on how to grow and expand their businesses from the petite trades that they are engaged in and customer services best practices. Others received marital counselling on conflict resolution while others were thought about how to manage chronic health challenges like hypertension and diabetes. Some 31 widows were encouraged to come back for training on pastry and farming. There was also drinks, snacks and lunch provided to the women as this was a full day event.
The conference was graced with interludes of music and cultural dances by the women of Umuaihia and ended at 5 pm with interaction and photoshoots with the Coordinators and the attendees.

A representative from all the women spoke with so much gratitude to CAVIWO for thinking about the women of Umuaihia and ask that God would make such events to happen again as they have never felt this kind of love.
